I happen to come across a name I recognised when I was searching for my own family records - It is relating to the WWII Female Relative Badge which was issued to the wife and/or mother or nearest female relative of Australians who were on active service abroad during World War II. Each star on the badge represents a son or relative on active service. Issued 11.2.44 to E. Buckman (Mother) of Laurieton (NSW) for Tpr Noel Buckman 49207.

I didn't know Mr Trengove as a young man, but looking at the group photo, the shirtless man at the rear 5th from the right reminded me of him. Growing up in the 1980s his silver hairstyle & look always reminded me of Prime Minister Bob Hawke. I've attached some photos of him from the 1983 WA Safari.
