Jack joined the unit at Canungra, Qld and embarked for New Britain aboard “TAROONA” on 9 Apr 1945 with the unit as a Trooper. He was discharged on 31 May 1946.

Ray enlisted into the Citizens Military Forces (Reserve) on 10 Oct 1940 and was called up for full time service on 12 Feb 1942, joining 9th Motor Regiment as a Trooper with service No S6488. He transferred to 4th Motor Regiment on 5 Oct 1942. He transferred to the A.I.F. with Service No SX32148 on 12 Jun 1943. Transferred to 21st Australian Infantry Training Battalion on 17 Aug 1944 and then to Jungle warfare Training Centre, Canungra, Qld on 20 Nov 1944. Ray joined the unit at Canungra, Qld on 31 Jan 1945 and embarked for New Britain aboard “TAROONA” on 9 Apr 1945 with the unit as a Trooper. He returned to Australia aboard "TAROONA" on 15 Sept 1945 and was discharged on 2 Apr 1946. He was entitled to the Pacific Star, War Medal and Australian Service Medal 1939-45, pictured below. But could now be entitled to a 1939-45 Star.

Jack joined the Permanent Military Forces of Australia on 19 May 1936 and served with the following prior to the Japanese entry into the war. 3rd Light Horse regiment (CMF), Royal Australian Engineers, Australian Instructional Corps, 52nd Infantry Battalion and 46th Infantry Battalion. After which he attended the Royal Military College, Duntroon. He was commissioned on 30 Jun 1942 and served with 10th Aust Infantry Battalion until transferr to the unit to setup a staging section in the Northern Territory on 25 Nov 1942. He joined the unit on their return from Timor at Larrimah, NT, December 1942. After the unit reorganized, he embarked with the unit for New Guinea as a Lieutenant, the Unit Adjutant, Headquarters Group aboard S.S. “DUNTROON” on 17 Jun 1943 and returned to Australia with them aboard “TAROONA” on 3 Sept 1944. After leave and further reorganization, he embarked for New Britain aboard “TAROONA” on 9 Apr 1945 with the unit as a Captain, Officer Commanding, No 6 Section, “B” Troop. He was the units Demobilisation Officer and continued serving with the Australian Army, with service No 456, with the following. Victorian Scottish Regiment, School of Tactics and Administration HQ 3rd Division, Army Apprentice School, 22 Royal Victorian Regiment and AHQ, Army Records Office. He was placed on the retired list as a Lieutenant Colonel on 20 Nov 1972. -
Kelvin joined the Australian Military Forces (Militia) with service number S61146 and served with 9th Motor Regiment from Dec 1942 to Jan 1943. He is now also entitled to the Australian Service Medal 1945-75 with a clasp "S.W.Pacific". -
William embarked with the unit for New Guinea aboard S.S. “DUNTROON” on 17 Jun 1943 as a Trooper and returned to Australia with them aboard “TAROONA” on 3 Sept 1944. After leave and reorganization, he embarked for New Britain aboard “TAROONA” on 9 Apr 1945 with the unit as a Trooper. He was discharged on 29 May 1946.

Oscar served in the 120th Heavy Battery, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA), Australian Military Forces (Reserves) from 3 Jul 1939 until he transferred to the AIF on 3 Nov 1939 with Service No SX881. He was appointed Paid Lance Corporal on 15 Jan 1945 and after leave and reorganization, he embarked for New Britain aboard “TAROONA” on 9 Apr 1945 with the unit as a lance Corporal in No 4 Sect, “B” Troop. He attended and qualified at No 2 Mobile Team Junglecraft (sic) Wing Course No 2, New Guinea, from 8 Jun to 10 Jul 1945. He was discharged on 6 Oct 1945. He was entitled to the 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Pacific Star, War Medal and Australian Service Medal 1939-45, pictured below. He would also be entitled to a Greek War Medal for service in Greece / Crete. -
Ron enlisted on 20 Oct 1939 and posted to 2/3rd Field Artillery Regiment on 3 Nov 1939. He embarked for the Middle East aboard H.T. L II on 15 Nov 1940 and then embarked for Greece aboard "PENNLAND" on 31 Mar 1941. He withdrew to CRETE with his unit and arrived back in North Africa on 3 Jun 1941. He was promoted Acting Bombardier on 20 sept 1941 and confirmed Bombardier on 15 Oct 1941. Returned to Australia aboard "DURBAN CASTLE" on 17 Mar 1943. He reverted to Private at his own request on 8 May 1943 and joined the unit after commando training on 15 May 1943. He joined the unit at Canungra, Qld and embarked with the unit for New Guinea as a Trooper in No 4 Section, “B” Troop aboard S.S. “DUNTROON” on 17 Jun 1943 and returned to Australia with them aboard “TAROONA” on 3 Sept 1944. He was discharged on 24 Jan 1945. He was entitled to the 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Pacific Star, War Medal and Australian Service Medal 1939-45, pictured below. He was one of the former Koepang men, who moved to the village of Mape for intensive commando training and, on 8 May 1942, they were formed into a new Platoon, "D" Platoon under the command of Lieutenant Turton and later under Lt Doig. After the campaign on Timor, he embarked with the unit, for Australia, aboard the Royal Dutch destroyer “Tjerk Hiddes” on 11 Dec 1942. He transferred to 2/12th Battalion on 7 Jun 1943 and embarked for New Guinea with them aboard "KATOOMBA" on 17 Aug 1943. Vern was Wounded in Action on 22 Jan 1944 and re-joined the 2/12th on 25 Mar 1944, he returned to Australia with them aboard "PAHUD" on 17 May 1944. Berwin had served with 12/50th Battalion as a Sergeant prior to enlisting in Citizen Military Force (Reserve) on 28 Apr 1940 and he was promoted Acting Corporal on the same date. He was promoted Acting Sergeant on 2 Sept 1940. He transferred to the A.I.F. on 28 Nov 1940 and was posted to Australian Army Pay Corps and attached to 2/40th Battalion. He joined the unit on Timor from the Australian Army Pay Corps as a Sergeant, after the fall of Koepang, approx March 1942. He served in Headquarters Group and compiled a nominal roll of the unit in Aug and Sept 1942, which was the only Roll of the unit for those serving on Timor during those two months. Hector enlisted on 27 May 1940 and was posted to 2/40th Infantry Battalion on 8 Jan 1941. He joined the unit on Timor as a Private from 2/40th Battalion, after the fall of Koepang, approx March 1942. After the campaign on Timor, he embarked with the unit, for Australia aboard the Royal Dutch destroyer “Tjerk Hiddes” on 16 Dec 1942. He transferred to 2/12th Infantry Battalion on 10 Jul 1943 and embarked for New Guinea with them aboard "KATOOMBA" on 17 Aug 1943. He returned to Australia with them aboard "VAN DER BOACH" on 26 May 1944. He embarked for MOTORAI aboard "PORTUS H ROSE" on 28 May 1945, he then embarked for MOTORAI aboard Landing Ship Troops (LST) 397 on 22 Jun 1945 and returned to Australia aboard "HMS IMPLACABLE" on 20 Nov 1945. He was discharged 4 Dec 1945. He was entitled to the 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal and Australian Service Medal 1939-45, pictured below. He is now also entitled to the Australian Service Medal 1945-75 with a clasp "S.W.Pacific".
