Committee Rob Crossing Posted August 13, 2018 Committee Share Posted August 13, 2018 On a recent trip to Scotland, I was fortunate enough to visit Britain's Commando Memorial, near Fort William, in Lochaber. This inspirational monument looks towards Ben Nevis and over the training area for British commandos that was established in 1942. I was delighted to see that the memorial is a real tourist attraction. When we were there, the car-park was pretty full and there were several busloads of tourists as well. Lest we forget.
