Keith Gilbert BEACHAM

Keith enlisted into the 10th Light Horse Regiment on 17 Mar 1941 with service No W34753 as a Trooper. He transferred to the 2nd AIF on 8 July 1942 and was posted to 1st Australian Commando Training Battalion on 2 Dec 1944. After training he joined the unit on 31 Jan 1945 and he embarked for New Britain aboard “TAROONA” on 9 Apr 1945 with the unit as a Trooper in No 3 Sect, “A” Troop. He embarked for Australia aboard "TAROONA" on 15 Sept 45.

Keith was posted to Marrinup POW Camp in Western Australia and was discharged on 9 May 1946.
