    Wilfred was a member of the 2/40th Battalion and after the fall of Koepang, he was one of approx. 200 men, who made their way to Portuguese Timor and joined the 2/2nd.

    Little is known of Wilfred, other than he returned to Australia and was discharged on 15 Jul 1948. He also had the service No 69284 and serve with the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) in Japan

    Service papers are not available..
