Uses interviews, archive footage by Damien Parer and dramatic reenactments to tell the story of 300 Australian men in East Timor and their bonds of friendship with the Timorese people, who sheltered them from the Japanese occupiers. Interviews with Sir Bernard Callinan and other veterans from Australia and Japan.
