Crumpy Posted November 18, 2018 My late father RAAF Airframe Fitter Louis Crump (in the shirt) in New Guinea maybe Port Moresby or Goroka Airfields after May 1943. Lou said these Red Diamonds just walked onto the base out of the bush. They were the hardest men he'd ever seen (a big call as Lou was a bullock driver at aged 14) and it was a rare thing for them to pose for a photo. Link to comment
