JohnS Posted September 2 Posted September 2 My father VX18894 Sig. JOHN HENRY STAFFORD has on his page a photo indicating three citations, Presidential Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation, which is listed on paperwork I have received on his Service Record, however on your page you also show the MUC. Is this a possible unit Citation from his time in the 2/2 or if you have any other information regarding this MUC. Kind regards JohnS…son
Committee Noel Strickland Posted September 2 Committee Posted September 2 Hi John One of our committee members has responded the following: The MUC is a Meritorious Unit Citation. It is a modern award for Australians but the US also awards a MUC If he is WW2 to Vietnam he probably was with the training team in Vietnam and its US. We know it’s not for Timor. Cheers John i hope this helps. Regards Noel
JohnS Posted September 3 Author Posted September 3 Thanks to you Noel and the members who has looked into this for me. I don’t think “Honours and Awards” would have the answer. Kind Regards John S.
