Thanks you so much for a very moving ceremony. I have recently relocated back to Perth after 30+ years away so this was a a wonderful remembrance for my father Colin Hodson and all his mates who I grew up knowing them all as "uncle... ". I held my fathers medals close to my heart today and shed a tear for what a magnificent man he was. My father past away on 9th May 2015 aged 91.
(Colin Campbell Hodson was a member of the 2/2 Commando Squadron (formerly the 2nd Independent Company) in New Guinea and New Britain being discharged in 1946).
I welcome the opportunity to be present all future ceremonies.
